How long will it take to get my photos?

This will depend on the type and length of your session. I understand the excitement and anticipation that comes with receiving your full photo album. I appreciate your patience and trust in our services. While the standard delivery time for photo albums is 30 days, I always strive to exceed your expectations and deliver your cherished memories sooner.

How will I receive my photo?

Photos will also be available for high quality digital download from Pixieset. I also offer USB drives for an extra charge of $10.

What is your editing style? Do you retouch skin?

Photos will be edited with warmer tones a colors.

Skin retouching is included unless I am asked otherwise. All blemishes, cuts, bruises, you name it can be removed!

Do you have a contract?

Yes each client receives a contract tailor made to fit all their session needs through Pixieset.

Your contract will be sent once a set date and location is agreed upon. This is to ensure all expectations for the session are met. Furthermore, to outline the rights and responsibilities of myself, along with all clients, in order to help avoid and resolve any conflicts.

A non-refundable reservation deposit is due within one week of signing and returning the contract. The amount is subject to change depending on the type of session that is booked.

How do you receive payment?

Payment can be sent through Venmo, Cashapp, check, or cash.

The remaining cost must be paid with 7 days of the shoot, so please make sure you have the date set as a reminder to make your payment.

What is your photo sharing policy?

You are allowed to share any photo you would like. If shared onto social media, per my contract, you are asked to tag Storeybook Photos in any photo posts.

All photos I take, I do post on both my Instagram and Facebook page. Per my contract, I am allowed to post any photos take, but if there is a problem with not wanted photos posted we can discuss any issues you may have.

Where does the session take place? Do you have a studio?

Wherever you’d like! I’m happy to provide clients with my location suggestions guide.

I do not have my own studio. But if you would like photos indoors, a session within a clients home or at a studio can be arranged.

What is your travel fee?

Travel expenses will be incurred for any session outside of the photographer's travel limit. The first 25 miles of all travel is no additional charge. The remaining mileage will incur a fee of $2 per mile.

For any sessions or weddings that may require flight, hotels or rental car, clients will be provided with the receipts of all transactions made and booked at all standard rates. Clients will be required to pay for this costs a their travel fee. Any extras such a food, gas, etc. will not be included in aforementioned fee.

Do you have an outfit limit?

Depending the the session you book, yes. You can refer to the package pricings listed in there own section to see the amount of outfit changes I allow per session.

Can I bring a pet with me to our session?

Absolutely, I love all animals so please do! I just ask you inform me before hand so I can come prepared for a furry friend. Pets are an up charge of $10 per animals (the up charge mainly applies to dogs.)

I do also suggest having another person with you at the session to help with holding onto the animal when they aren’t in the photos!

Can we bring friends/family?

Of course! The more the merrier! I once again ask that you inform me before hand so I can come prepared.

Having someone you are more comfortable with at the session can always help when it comes to posing and smiling for pictures. They are also free to join you for a couple photos!

Can we print our photos?

Of course. I do not watermark my photos, making it easy for you to print anything you’d like.

I can help provide locations that do print works.

For an extra charge, depending on the size, I can get you a photo printed on a canvas.

What is your policy on rescheduling?

If rescheduling is needed due to personal reasons, weather, etc., I ask you notify me at the earliest convenience so we can arrange for a new date and time.

Should a change of location be needed and it requires substantial travel distance, a new travel fee will be implemented.

Do you cancel due to weather?

Whenever a photo session is scheduled, I prioritize staying in touch with clients to ensure a successful shoot, rain or shine.
I closely monitors the weather forecast in the days leading up to the session. By keeping a close eye on the weather, we can anticipate any potential challenges and plan accordingly.

Personally, I believe that unexpected weather conditions can add a unique and even magical element to the photographs, capturing the essence of the moment. If rescheduling due to weather is need, a new session date can be arranged without any extra charges!
